Churchill Freight Ltd represent a number of very active and efficient overseas agents in the far east. We are able to organise FCL or LCL container services to or from the UK. Transit times are ranging from an impressive 22 days to about 30 days, depending on destination and vessel routing.
Containers arrive in the UK usually at Southampton, Felixstowe, Tilbury, Thames Port or Liverpool FCL containers are normally pre-cleared prior to arrival of vessel for speedy delivery to customer's premises. LCL Cargo is unpacked either at a warehouse near the port of arrival or to and inland clearance facility. Again
goods can be entered for customs clearance prior to physical arrival of goods. Full delivery to door can be arranged though our various efficient hauliers we utilise at each port.
We are of course able and willing to offer clients a full customs clearance service or if required we will pass on the clearance function to any nominated agent you may have.
Whilst most clients clear their cargo at time of arrival in the UK some take advantage of our bonded warehouse facilities that we can offer at our London premises. By placing cargo into a bonded warehouse, one can take advantage of saving having to pay HM Customs & Excise duty, vat or any other customs charges at time of arrival. Customs & Excise only require payment once goods are removed from the warehouse.
Insurance, if not covered by shipper or consignee, can be arranged on our clients behalf by our recommended specialist insurance broker.
We strongly advise that clients ensure that their goods are adequately covered for all risks. The premium incurred is relatively small in comparison to the value of ones cargo.

Although historically, we have always been heavily involved in the Far East market, we do of course deal with all world markets, including USA, Canada, South American, the Middle East and Australia and New Zealand.
